Mirrors in Art: See Duisburg with New Eyes

Mirrors in Art: A Special Discovery Experience at the Lehmbruck Museum

On Friday, November 6, 2026, the Lehmbruck Museum in Duisburg invites you to a special art day: In the Pay What You Want format, visitors determine their own admission price. In addition, the public tour "Mirrors in Art" begins at 3 PM.

Art Viewing with New Perspectives

The focus of the afternoon is on the question of how reflections, duplications, and perspective changes work in art. The tour offers a concentrated approach to selected works and combines vivid image viewing with art-historical background knowledge. Thus, the museum visit becomes a cultural enrichment and an inspiring dialogue between artwork, space, and audience.

The Lehmbruck Museum as a Center of Modern Sculpture

The Lehmbruck Museum is among the outstanding museum buildings of the post-war period and is dedicated to international sculpture. The collection ranges from Wilhelm Lehmbruck to the present day. Architecture, exhibition spaces, and artworks create an atmosphere where local history, modern cultural heritage, and contemporary art meet directly.
