The staff are constantly talking so loudly about personal things that it's impossible to concentrate. They even talk loudly to customers about irrelevant topics – quite entertaining, actually 🤦‍♂️. It's fine to borrow books, but not to read them. It feels like a construction site instead of a library. Unbelievable.

This branch of the Duisburg City Library may be rather small, but it still offers a wide selection, and as a library member, you can have all titles from other branches delivered here. What I love about it is that with a library card, you can access the library even when there are no staff members on site. The extended opening hours also give working people, for example, the opportunity to use the services.

Very nice library, especially the children's section is well-equipped and versatile. The open library function is of course also super practical for boring Sundays 😊
