An impressive historic building in the heart of Ruhrort. The Schifferbörse (shipmen's exchange) represents Duisburg's long tradition of inland shipping and is a true landmark of the district. Beautiful architecture, well-maintained, and steeped in history, it's a must-see during a visit to Ruhrort.

From here, we took a two-hour harbor tour on the MS Rheinfels. The crew took excellent care of the guests, and the captain's commentary during the trip was very informative and entertaining. The tour is highly recommended.

This was the best cruise on the Ruhrtopcard so far. The captain makes the trip truly exciting and entertaining. Absolutely fantastic!

I always enjoy going to that part of Ruhrort. You're by the water, there are places to get drinks or food, you can go for a walk, or sit in a beer garden; it's still beautifully old-fashioned in some parts, really cozy. 😃

Unfortunately closed, but an interesting place with a great history.
