Parkhaus Meiderich | Events & Program 2026
The Parkhaus Meiderich is much more than the name suggests: It is not a classic parking garage for cars, but a developed cultural, youth, and event address directly at the Meiderich City Park. The carrier, Jugendkultur DU-Nord e.V., describes the facility as a non-profit place for children, young people, and music enthusiasts, where leisure, encounters, and cultural offerings come together. This mixture explains why so many search queries simultaneously target events, programs, concerts, rentals, photos, reviews, and even the exact address. Those looking for a place that is lively, approachable, and well-equipped technically will quickly find themselves in the right spot here. The website displays current dates with time and sometimes even with available seats, making planning very transparent. For visitors, this is particularly practical, as it allows them to see in advance whether an evening is rather small, almost sold out, or still wide open. ([parkhaus-meiderich.de](https://www.parkhaus-meiderich.de/das-parkhaus-stellt-sich-vor/))
The location also has a long history in Duisburg-Meiderich. The official self-presentation explains that the Parkhaus got its name due to its location directly at the City Park. Since 1993, the sponsoring association has been committed to the site, and in the past, not only youth offerings but also large music formats and festival work have been part of the profile. From promoting young talent to well-known acts, a wide range spans that well describes the character of the house: It is a place for young bands, for audiences from Duisburg and the surrounding area, and for anyone looking for an immediate, often very intense concert evening. The fact that alongside rock and metal formats, children's offerings, family events, and dance evenings also appear on the event page particularly highlights the versatility of the house. ([parkhaus-meiderich.de](https://www.parkhaus-meiderich.de/das-parkhaus-stellt-sich-vor/))
Current Events and Program at Parkhaus Meiderich
When users search for Parkhaus Meiderich program, upcoming events, or today, the event page is the most important source of information. There, the events are displayed not only with names but also with day, time, and for many events with an available seats indication. This is very helpful for specific visit planning, as one can immediately see how in demand an evening already is. Currently, the dates range from So Much Love Tour Duisburg on April 4, 2026, to ALL OVER YOU TOUR 2026 on April 10, and Car Park Massacre on April 11, up to Melodic Rock Night, Fools Errant live, and NEONSCHATTEN. Later, formats like Spielkorb, Dance into May, Doomed & Pott, Home Sweet House, Sonic Mayhem, Rock & Metal in the PARK(haus), Metal over Meiderich, and Music Box – Music History from the Box will follow. This is not a random collection but a very clear picture of a location that serves multiple target groups: rock fans, metal fans, party audiences, families, and people looking for a flexible cultural address in Duisburg. ([parkhaus-meiderich.de](https://www.parkhaus-meiderich.de/termine/))
Especially interesting for the search intent is that the website does not just provide static information but also considers the booking and planning aspect. The displayed number of available seats makes it clear whether an event still has plenty of room or is almost full. Thus, a mere program calendar becomes a useful tool for visitors who decide spontaneously or are specifically waiting for a certain evening. For keyword combinations like today, upcoming events, or program, this is important because the Parkhaus directly answers the questions that interested parties really have. The diversity of formats also appears to be search-strong: In addition to clear rock and metal evenings, there are also party and themed evenings like Dance into May, Home Sweet House, or Music Box, while Spielkorb and 4ALL point to family and inclusive formats. Thus, the location is not only a concert address but also a flexible event hub in the northern part of Duisburg. ([parkhaus-meiderich.de](https://www.parkhaus-meiderich.de/termine/))
Concerts, Rock Nights, and Special Events
The musical profile of Parkhaus Meiderich is deeply rooted. The house's self-presentation emphasizes that concerts with young bands take place regularly and that emerging bands are consciously integrated here. At the same time, the page names a number of well-known artists who have performed at the Parkhaus, including Reamonn, Guano Apes, Liquido, Stoppok, Zeltinger, The BossHoss, Luxuslärm, Deichkind, Sabaton, Angelo Kelly, John Watts, Paul Di’Anno, and Gregor Meyle. This shows that the place not only hosts small club shows but also has a regional impact. This character is particularly evident in the retrospective of the festival history: From 1999 to 2014, the Parkhaus hosted the former Duisburg Open Air Festival on behalf of the city of Duisburg, later known as the Park-Kult-Tour Festival. There, among others, Fury in the Slaughterhouse, Sir Bob Geldof, Ray Wilson, Gary Moore, The BossHoss, 2Raumwohnung, and Fiddler’s Green performed. For search queries related to Fury or Fury in the Slaughterhouse, this historical connection is relevant. ([parkhaus-meiderich.de](https://www.parkhaus-meiderich.de/das-parkhaus-stellt-sich-vor/))
Even today, the musical profile remains clearly recognizable. The current event page is strongly characterized by rock, metal, punk, alternative, and related formats, while thematic evenings and party events are also included. Additionally, media reports show the Parkhaus as a venue for benefit concerts, Halloween parties, and DJ evenings. Radio Duisburg mentioned the location in 2025, for example, in connection with a Dance into May event featuring 90s, RnB, pop, and charts, and another report described Halloween at the Parkhaus with a live DJ and free admission. WAZ also reported on benefit concerts like Prog for Peace and the tradition of such events in the Meiderich cultural temple. This makes it clear: The Parkhaus is not limited to a single genre but thrives on a mix of scene, solidarity, youth culture, and broad event practice. So, those looking for concerts will find here not only hard guitar evenings but also special formats with social or seasonal character. Room Rental in Duisburg: Hall, Stage, and Garden
For search queries like renting Parkhaus Meiderich, room rental is a crucial component. The official site explicitly promotes the location as an event address for weddings, birthdays, family celebrations, and corporate events. The equipment includes a large bar, various furniture, a music and lighting system, and a stage where a band can perform if needed. This is an important advantage for private celebrations and small to medium-sized events, as it offers not just an empty hall but a practically usable event environment. Additionally, there is a large garden that can be opened for the outdoor area in nice weather and is suitable for barbecues or casual program points. An adjoining room is also available and can be used as a cloakroom, for childcare, or for a buffet. This combination already shows why the place is interesting for various celebration formats. ([parkhaus-meiderich.de](https://www.parkhaus-meiderich.de/raumvermietungen/))
The capacity details are particularly clear: Standing, up to 150 people can fit, while seated, up to 50 people are possible. Rentals are intended for Fridays and Saturdays starting from 50 people. Thus, the location is in a range that is large enough for many private celebrations but still does not feel anonymous. Additionally, the technical page helps to classify the professional level: Among other things, microphones, Sennheiser wireless systems, several Shure microphones, DI boxes, four monitor paths, subwoofers, tops, a Behringer stage box, an X32 mixer, as well as plenty of stage power and XLR cables are listed. So, anyone planning a live band, an announcement, a speech, or a smaller concert quickly realizes that this is not improvised but works with a real event infrastructure. This makes the location equally attractive for private and cultural uses. ([parkhaus-meiderich.de](https://www.parkhaus-meiderich.de/raumvermietungen/))
Directions, Address, and Parking in Meiderich
The exact address of Parkhaus Meiderich is Bürgermeister-Pütz-Straße 123, 47137 Duisburg. The city of Duisburg lists the location as Stadtpark Meiderich and links to both a route planner and a timetable. This is relevant for anyone searching for Parkhaus Meiderich Duisburg, Bürgermeister-Pütz-Straße Duisburg, or directions. The location is therefore not somewhere abstract in the city but very clearly in the Duisburg district of Meiderich. For visitors, this primarily means that a simple, pre-planned arrival is sensible, especially when attending a concert, family event, or private celebration. The name itself, as the house's self-presentation explains, derives from its location directly at the Meiderich City Park. This makes the place easily findable in the urban space and also distinctive. ([duisburg.de](https://www.duisburg.de/wohnenleben/jugendzentren/standort-stadtpark-meiderich.php))
When it comes to the keyword parking, it is important to be precise: On the visible official pages, no dedicated visitor parking lot is prominently indicated. Instead, the city page refers to route planners and timetables, and the Parkhaus page itself mainly mentions contact and event information. This can be inferred that planning the arrival before the visit is sensible, especially if an evening is heavily attended or if one is coming by car. For an SEO-optimized but honest classification, this means: The Parkhaus Meiderich is well-addressed and easily findable through the city and website structure, but for questions about parking, one should check the arrival routes in advance. This kind of transparent information is helpful because it provides real utility beyond mere keyword filling. So, anyone searching for parking, directions, or address gets a clear, location-based answer instead of vague promises. ([duisburg.de](https://www.duisburg.de/wohnenleben/jugendzentren/standort-stadtpark-meiderich.php))
Accessibility, Kids, Teens, and First Impressions
The Parkhaus Meiderich is not only a concert venue but also a social and family-oriented meeting point. The accessibility page mentions a disabled toilet on the ground floor and two wheelchair ramps that can be installed at the entrance and in the garden if needed. This is an important detail for guests with mobility restrictions, as it makes accessibility concrete and does not just promise it generally. At the same time, the house shows with the Parkhaus Kids and Parkhaus Teens pages that children and young people are systematically considered here. The Kids open Monday to Friday from 1 PM to 6 PM, cater to children between 6 and 12 years, and offer free leisure activities with games, crafts, sports, projects, and a large outdoor area. The guiding principle of free space for children to promote self-activity fits very well with a place that sees itself as an open house. ([parkhaus-meiderich.de](https://www.parkhaus-meiderich.de/barrierefreiheit-im-parkhaus/))
There is also an open offer for teenagers aged 13 and above. The Teens page announces an open meeting from Monday to Friday from 1 PM to 6 PM, where the front house and garden are available. Mentioned there are foosball, basketball, garden play equipment, board games, creative and digital offerings, as well as cooking together and workshops. Additionally, recurring projects and information via Instagram are included. The overview page of the offerings also describes a free Halloween party for children, where music, dance, and snacks are the focus, and the current event page features an inclusive format called 4ALL with the addition We live inclusion. All of this makes it clear that Parkhaus Meiderich is more than just a pure event shell: It is a house with everyday life, a social mission, and a clear local anchoring. The included reviews reflect this impression exactly, as visitors describe the place as a lovingly designed concert venue with good acoustics, professional lighting and sound technology, a strong stage, and a pleasant atmosphere. Together with the many integrated images on the subpages, this creates a very tangible first impression, which is particularly helpful for photo and review searches.
Very nice for concerts right in the park. Good food options. Parking is available nearby. The only downside was that we had some rain, and the grass was muddy, so make sure you wear appropriate footwear. The acoustics were good.

A lovingly designed concert venue. The stage is huge compared to the size of the room, and the lighting and sound are professional. The acoustics are optimized in all the right places. You have to duck your head on the steep stairs to get to the restroom. I've spent some wonderful evenings there.
