Immer & Edel | Breakfast & Brunch
Immer & Edel in Duisburg-Ruhrort is a café with a clear signature: barrier-free, open daily, culinarily versatile, and flexible enough for private or business occasions. The establishment presents itself as the second location of the well-known Café Edel from Duissern, which was established in Ruhrort in 2024 and is run by Gaye Sevindim and Birte Almesberger. Those who come here are not just looking for a quick coffee but a place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, cake, and events in a relaxed atmosphere. The combination of café operation, catering, and rentable spaces makes Immer & Edel a location that works just as well in everyday life as it does for special occasions. This mix is particularly exciting in Ruhrort: a district with its own identity, where enjoyment, community, and usability come together. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
Breakfast and Brunch at Immer & Edel
The menu clearly shows what Immer & Edel stands for: the focus is on fresh breakfast and brunch dishes that remain attractive throughout the day. Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Burrata Bread, Croissant Bun, Egg Florentine, Egg Bun, Scrambled Eggs, and Shakshuka make up a selection that combines classic café moments with modern ingredients. Additionally, there are bread dishes, egg dishes, and sweet components, making the offerings suitable for both a quiet start to the day and a late breakfast. This mix makes the menu practical for everyday use: not too complicated, but with enough variety to cover different preferences. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
Particularly appealing is that the café does not rely on a single breakfast direction. There are hearty options with cheese, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, or hollandaise, but also lighter variants with jam and butter. A vegan version of the Grilled Cheese Sandwich is even possible, and a plant-based alternative is also offered for the Shakshuka. This way, Immer & Edel appeals to guests who want to eat uncomplicatedly but still value choice and adaptability. The prices on the website are in a range that makes the café appear down-to-earth yet carefully curated. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
The strength of the breakfast and brunch offerings also lies in the fact that the dishes do not appear overloaded. Instead, the menu focuses on clearly named dishes with understandable ingredients and a familiar, pleasant style. This fits perfectly with a place that aims to attract both regulars and visitors from the neighborhood. Those looking for a relaxed breakfast spot with a modern orientation in Ruhrort will find a location that does not need to be loud to be convincing. The offerings appear intentionally accessible yet special enough to stand out from any standard café. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
Lunch, Cake, and Vegan Variety
In addition to breakfast, the changing lunch menu plays an important role. The website explicitly describes it as a regularly varying offering, with fair prices and a good selection at its core. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are not just a footnote but an explicit part of the concept. This is particularly practical for a café in Ruhrort, as it means the place functions not only in the morning but also during lunch breaks, for meetings between appointments, or for a quick yet high-quality stop in the afternoon. Those who want to plan their meals in everyday life will find an offering that remains flexible without being arbitrary. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
A second focus is on the cake offerings. The cheesecake is described as a homemade classic, the bee sting cake comes in a vegan version, and apple pie as well as chocolate tart are also part of the selection. Additionally, there are seasonal cakes that, according to the website, change regularly and provide surprises. This is precisely the appeal: one can tell that standard baked goods are not simply sold here, but rather a small, consciously maintained cake table with character. For guests who want to combine coffee and cake with a relaxed atmosphere, this is a strong argument. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
The combination of lunch and cake makes Immer & Edel a location with multiple reasons to visit. In the morning, it is a breakfast spot, at noon a straightforward place for a warm or light meal, and in the afternoon a café for something sweet and a break. This multiple use is particularly valuable for a place in Ruhrort, as it does not bind the café to a single time of day. Those who come more frequently also experience a certain variety through changing lunch dishes and seasonal cakes. This creates an offering that is reliable yet dynamic enough to remain interesting. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
Reservations, Catering, and Private Celebrations
Organizing a visit is uncomplicated. The website has a reservation button, and the team can also be reached by email, with contact details clearly provided. This aligns with a café that does not hide behind formal barriers but wants to keep direct contact intentionally low-threshold. For guests, this means: those who want to ensure a table can reserve in advance; those with questions can directly write to the location. Especially for a well-located café with event potential, this easy accessibility is a real advantage. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
Catering is also part of the concept. The website explains that dishes can not only be served in the café but can also be ordered for events as catering. The menu is individually compiled in close coordination and delivered at the agreed time. This is of interest for private celebrations as well as for meetings, workshops, or small team events. It shows that Immer & Edel thinks not only gastronomically but is also organizationally geared towards flexible solutions. So, if you are planning an event and want culinary provision from a single source, you will find an offering here that can do more than just typical café operations. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
Particularly versatile is the use of the spaces themselves. The official website mentions weddings, conferences, birthdays, and readings as possible occasions. This means the establishment appeals not only to private celebrations but also to cultural and professional formats. In combination with catering, it creates a coherent overall package: space, food, and organization come from a single source, making planning significantly easier. Especially for people looking for a small, stylish location with a personal touch, this is a strong starting point. Immer & Edel thus presents itself not merely as a café with additional options but as a usable space for various occasions. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
Opening Hours, Accessibility, and Service
A practical advantage is the constant opening hours. According to the website, Immer & Edel is open from Monday to Sunday from 09:00 to 18:00. This creates a very clear framework for breakfast, lunch breaks, coffee visits, or a smaller event during the day. Those traveling in Ruhrort can plan their visit well without having to adapt to changing weekday hours. For guests who value reliability, this is a strong argument. The opening hours are intentionally kept simple and support the image of a relaxed, accessible café. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
Additionally, there is accessibility. The website explicitly emphasizes that the café is barrier-free. This is more than just an additional note, as it makes the location significantly easier to use for many people and greatly expands the circle of potential visitors. Especially for a place that brings together food, meetings, and events, this point is important. It signals that accessibility is not treated as a secondary aspect but is part of the fundamental understanding of the establishment. Combined with the clear daily rhythm, it creates a hospitable overall picture that does not want to appear complicated or exclusive. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
The nature of communication also fits this. In the contact area, it is emphasized that good food, honest service, and a relaxed atmosphere are at the center. This is not a loud advertising slogan but rather a description of the aspiration. Additionally, there is a directly accessible email address, a contact form, the possibility to reserve, and even a phone number in the imprint. For guests and event interested parties, this means that questions, arrangements, and bookings are possible in a straightforward manner. This uncomplicated accessibility is particularly valuable for a café with event character. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/kontakt?utm_source=openai))
Renting Spaces: Event Location in Ruhrort with Loft Character
The history of the location begins with an idea for Ruhrort: the new offering emerged as the second location of Café Edel in Duissern and was brought to the district in 2024 as part of a vacancy initiative. Several reports describe that the project was set to start in the summer of 2024 and was intended as a gastronomic component for the enhancement of Dammstraße. Thus, Immer & Edel is not just another gastronomic operation but part of a conscious development in the neighborhood. This origin also explains why the location wants to be a café, meeting point, and flexible event space at the same time. ([radioduisburg.de](https://www.radioduisburg.de/artikel/duisburger-leerstandsinitiative-zeigt-erfolg-2073678.html?utm_source=openai))
For use as an event location, external space listings very specifically refer to a loft event space. Spacebase states that the hall has a capacity of 1 to 120 people and describes it as ideal for conferences, workshops, and special occasions. This is an important indication as it shows that the location is not only intended for small groups but also functions well for significantly larger groups. So, if you are planning a celebration, seminar, or presentation, you will find a space that is flexible enough for different formats. ([spacebase.com](https://www.spacebase.com/de/venue/saal-1063217/?utm_source=openai))
Peerspace adds to the picture with further practical details: the room is described as a generous photo and film location, with around 10 meters of ceiling height, distinctive brick architecture, plenty of daylight, as well as a kitchen and dressing room. It is also presented as open, quiet, and flexibly usable. This combination of height, materiality, and usability makes the hall interesting for events, productions, and creative formats. It is thus not just a functional side room of the café but a place with its own character. For those looking for a location with an industrial effect and simultaneously gastronomic support, this is a rare mix. ([peerspace.com](https://www.peerspace.com/pages/listings/6957fd6bfe7d8a2558d4c7e0?utm_source=openai))
Ruhrort, Location, and Practical Tips for the Visit
The address is clear and easy to remember: Dammstraße 30 in 47119 Duisburg-Ruhrort. Thus, Immer & Edel is located in a district that stands out for its own character and its mix of living, working, and harbor connection. This is helpful for the visit as one does not have to search long for the place, and the location is also well-suited for appointments with other engagements in the quarter. Those planning a breakfast, lunch, or coffee stop have a solid basis for planning with the fixed address and daily opening hours. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))
When it comes to parking, external listing sites provide the most helpful hints. Peerspace mentions that two private parking spaces can be optionally booked, and additionally, there are parking garage and public parking options nearby. This information is particularly practical for event visits where several guests arrive by car. Even though the official website primarily focuses on the gastronomic and spatial aspects, the external description shows that the location also thinks well about logistical planning. This is a real advantage for groups, as arrival and arrival become less complicated. ([peerspace.com](https://www.peerspace.com/pages/listings/6957fd6bfe7d8a2558d4c7e0?utm_source=openai))
In summary, Immer & Edel is a versatile place that enriches Ruhrort with breakfast, lunch, cake, catering, and rentable spaces. The clear opening hours, accessibility, and the combination of café and event space make the location interesting for both spontaneous visits and planned appointments. Those looking for a modern, relaxed, and simultaneously usable address in Duisburg will find an offering here that focuses on practicality and uniqueness alike. This is precisely the strength of the establishment: it is not a loud hotspot but a reliable place with character and many possible uses. ([immer-und-edel.de](https://www.immer-und-edel.de/))

This is a hidden gem in Duisburg-Ruhrort, an area that traditionally was used (and still is in some parts) associated with docking and loading/unloading of ships that travel on the River Rhein. Immer & Edel has managed to keep that look by keeping part of the inside walls with red brick stones. The rest of the cafe is indeed following their name “Edel” and has a very chic and high quality finish. Service is great and very attentive, there are plenty of tables also in the back and the food is great at reasonable prices.

An excellent café in the spirit of the modern era. Very spacious, cozy, and quiet, with plenty of tables of various sizes. There's a large outdoor area, but it's on the courtyard side, so it's very quiet. The coffee and food are also of a high standard. I had a good meal and a very good coffee. It looks like I'll be coming here regularly from now on.

The café is exactly what this corner of Duisburg needed. It offers small, yet exquisite, delicious dishes, a very large selection of drinks, the opportunity to celebrate, the possibility to sit in larger groups, drink coffee, or eat, and even a very pleasant and pleasant spot for two or alone.

Very modern decor. Service was friendly. There's a small menu with a few snacks, exclusively vegan and vegetarian. Perfect for a quick snack. We do have one criticism: The windows were unfortunately completely smeared. The window cleaner hadn't been in for a while.
