Just Floyd Project concert...shine on 💎 It was fantastic, and the atmosphere at Bora was great too. I can highly recommend it. Bands perform there, and the restaurant downstairs is simply superb – definitely worth a visit. A great evening with everything you could want.

My review focuses solely on the organization and seating arrangements at the venue – in the hope that this criticism will be taken into account. The venue itself is beautiful, and the staff are friendly; everything else is fine. However: A cloakroom is mandatory due to fire safety regulations, yet the upstairs event space has completely rigid seating without an aisle? In some places, you had to climb over the rows of chairs to find an empty seat, as the rows were also extremely narrow. So, either create an aisle or remove one or two rows to provide more space. At over 1.85 meters tall, there's practically no legroom (which is likely also uncomfortable for the person sitting in front of you). Furthermore, after about 80 minutes of the show, my buttocks went numb because the chairs are really not very comfortable. The latter would be tolerable if there were a bit more legroom. Towards the end of the show, a huge crowd gathered at the bottom of the stairs and on the steps themselves, as everyone tried to get their coats at once. Not only from a visitor's perspective, but also based on years of experience in the event industry, I see a clear need for action here. Perhaps a few barriers at the bottom of the stairs could prevent people from congregating there and instead encourage them to spread out in the entrance area and queue for the coat check. Additionally, a brief announcement could be made over the loudspeakers after the show. For guests unfamiliar with the venue, it would be helpful to mention that the first balcony is also accessible via the spiral staircase.

We attended the seated event there for two hours, and the chairs were very uncomfortable. A few less chairs would have been better because you couldn't get up... or rather, if you were sitting in the middle, all 20 people had to get up. And a quick note: if you are significantly overweight, this isn't the place for you, as the chairs were already small for me, a sturdily built 30-year-old.

I can only fully endorse all the negative reviews regarding the cloakroom and seating. The argument about fire safety in the cloakroom is ridiculous and isn't even being followed by the mayor of Duisburg. I wouldn't want to be in this location in a real emergency! Not even, as was the case last night, for a reading.
