With a secure step to the bouldering wall
On Tuesday, December 8, 2026, the Monkeyspot bouldering hall Duisburg invites you to the beginner course in bouldering. From 19:00 to 20:00, beginners will experience a compact sports evening filled with movement, concentration, and real hall atmosphere.
Bouldering without a rope, but with plenty of excitement
Bouldering means climbing without a rope at jumping height. Thick soft floor mats lie beneath the routes, allowing for safe landings. The focus is on fun, variety, and personal movement sensations at the wall.
Technique, Tactics, and Safety for Beginners
The trainers convey important safety aspects as well as fundamental bouldering techniques. These include the conscious use of feet, controlled movements, and safely catching a fall on the mat. The right tactics for the first bouldering problems are also part of the course program.
Continue Bouldering Right After the Course
The course includes the day entry, rental shoes, and chalk. After the one-hour introduction, participants can continue bouldering independently without additional costs. Comfortable sports clothing is part of the suitable equipment. The venue also has changing rooms, showers, and toilets.
Important Notes for the Sports Evening
Pre-registration is not required. The event information recommends being on-site about 15 minutes before the course starts. Payment can be made in cash or with an EC card. The course is aimed at anyone who wants to experience the bouldering sport for the first time and start with a clear formation of technique, balance, and body tension.
Conclusion: The First Pull Begins at the Wall
Visitors can expect a practical introduction to the bouldering sport with professional guidance, a safe mat area, and additional climbing time. Those who want to experience the stadium atmosphere of a bouldering hall, the tension at the wall, and the sporting thrill of each new route live will find the right entry point here.
