With Technique, Courage, and Grip to the Bouldering Wall
On Tuesday, February 9, 2027, the Monkeyspot Bouldering Hall Duisburg will transform into a training field for everyone who wants to safely and joyfully learn bouldering. From 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the beginner course will convey the most important basics for starting in the sport.
Climb Safely Without a Rope
Bouldering means climbing at jump height over thick soft floor mats. In the course, experienced trainers will show how to safely absorb falls, what to focus on with body position, and how to successfully execute first movements in a controlled manner. The compact introduction provides orientation and immediately brings dynamism to the wall.
Footwork, Body Tension, and Tactics
On the varied bouldering problems, it is not brute strength that matters, but the right solution. Participants will learn fundamental bouldering techniques, refine their movement feel, and receive tips on the right tactics. Precise footwork, a stable play system of body tension, and well-placed grips make the difference when succeeding at the next move.
Larger Bouldering Area, Many Options
The Monkeyspot Bouldering Hall Duisburg offers around 1,300 square meters of bouldering area and about 250 routes. Weekly route setting provides new challenges, while the training area, bistro, and outdoor space complete the hall experience. Audience noise, focused gazes, and the special stadium atmosphere at the wall create tension in every attempt.
Everything for the First Course Evening
The course fee includes the day admission, rental shoes, and chalk. Comfortable sports clothing is part of the basic equipment. Pre-registration is not required. After the one-hour course, participants can continue bouldering at no additional cost. Changing rooms, showers, and toilets are available on-site.
Conclusion
The beginner course combines safety, movement, and sporting ambition for an intense first contact with the bouldering sport. Those who want to build technique, discover new movement patterns, and experience the unique atmosphere of a modern bouldering hall live will find the right start on February 9 in Duisburg.
