With secure grips to the bouldering wall: Your start at Monkeyspot Duisburg

On Tuesday, January 26, 2027, the Beginner Climbing Course at Monkeyspot Duisburg opens the door to a sport full of movement, concentration, and joy. From 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, beginners will learn the most important basics directly at the bouldering wall.

Safe climbing without a rope

Bouldering means climbing without a rope at jump height. Thick soft floor mats lie under the colorful routes, safely catching controlled falls. The course teaches central safety aspects and shows how to perform movements at the wall cleanly and with energy efficiency.

Technique, Tactics, and Body Awareness

The focus is on fundamental bouldering techniques, the correct use of feet, and better trust in one’s own body. The trainers provide practical tips on tactics: reading routes, shifting center of gravity, finding the suitable body formation, and planning movements step by step. Thus, the first grip quickly leads to a personal flow of movement.

An hour of training with immediate continuation

The one-hour beginner's course is aimed at people who want to try bouldering under professional guidance for the first time. Afterwards, participants can continue climbing without additional costs. The course fee includes daily admission, rental shoes, and chalk. Comfortable sports clothing ensures maximum freedom of movement.

Stadium atmosphere at the bouldering wall

When mats bounce, grips creak, and every solved boulder creates a sense of achievement, a concentrated hall atmosphere with its own dynamics arises. There are no fan chants, but the noise of the audience, the tension of the playing field, and direct exchange among climbers make every session a community experience.

Conclusion: The first grip begins at Monkeyspot

The Beginner Climbing Course combines a safe introduction, varied movement, and real moments of success. Those who want to experience technique, tactics, and the unique feeling of the bouldering hall live will find the right entry point at Monkeyspot Duisburg.
