Beginner Climbing Course in Duisburg: Safely to the Wall
On December 29, 2026, Monkeyspot Duisburg will open its bouldering hall for everyone who wants to experience climbing without a rope. The focus of the beginner course is on movement, technique, and safety. The routes lead at jump height over thick soft mats through a sporty hall landscape, where concentration and fun work closely together.
Technique, Tactics, and Safety for the Start
In the one-hour course, trainers convey important safety aspects and basic bouldering techniques. Participants learn how to use holds precisely, shift their center of gravity, and read a route with smart tactics. Foot technique, balance, and controlled movements form the basis for a safe entry into the bouldering sport.
Excitement on the Boulder Wall
Each route demands a unique body formation: Sometimes a long reach counts; sometimes a precise weight shift decides the next hold. Among colorful bouldering problems, mats, and concentrated calls, a special stadium atmosphere is created. The noise of the audience, movement energy, and the direct view of the wall make the course an intense sports experience.
Everything for the First Attempt Included
The course fee includes entry, rental shoes, and chalk. After the course, participants can continue bouldering independently without additional costs and try out the techniques learned on various routes. According to the organizer, pre-registration is not required. The course does not take place on holidays.
Conclusion: The Direct Path to the Wall
The beginner course at Monkeyspot Duisburg combines expert instruction with movement, excitement on the field, and a genuine hall feeling. Those who want to discover bouldering safely and with the right technique will experience a sports evening with short paths to their first success on the wall.
