Beginner Climbing Course in Duisburg: Safely to the Wall, Strong in the First Route
On Tuesday, December 22, 2026, the Monkeyspot Boulder Hall Duisburg will transform into a training ground for anyone who wants to get to know the sport of bouldering. From 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the beginner course introduces the most important basics without a rope and at jumping height. Thick soft mats provide a safe ground.
Technique, Tactics, and Movement at the Center
Bouldering requires more than just strength. In the course, the trainers convey basic safety aspects, clean footwork, body tension, and initial movement sequences on the wall. The right tactics are also essential: Those who read a route carefully, shift their weight purposefully, and control their body formation often reach the next holds with less effort.
The Perfect Start for Beginners
No prior knowledge is required. The course is aimed at beginners who want to try the sport in a structured way with expert guidance. After the one-hour session, participants can continue bouldering at no additional cost. This way, there is time after training to immediately test the newly learned techniques on further routes.
1300 Square Meters of Boulder Area and Around 250 Routes
The Monkeyspot Boulder Hall Duisburg offers a spacious bouldering area with around 250 routes, regular route construction, a separate training area, and a children's area. Between holds, volumes, and overhangs, an intense playing field tension is created: concentrated movements, short success moments, and motivating fan chants from the hall accompany the first moves.
Admission, Equipment, and Hall Experience
The course fee includes the day admission, rental shoes, and chalk. The online price is 20 euros; for reduced participants, 18.50 euros is the fee. On-site, there are also changing rooms, showers, a bistro with coffee and snacks, and free parking available.
Conclusion: Conquer Your First Boulder Now
The beginner course combines safety, technique, and movement into a sporty evening with real experience factor. Those who want to not only observe bouldering but also solve their first routes will experience a motivating atmosphere in Duisburg and a clear entry into the sport. Mark the date now and conquer the first wall live.
