Beginner Boulder Course in Duisburg: Safely to the Wall
On Tuesday, January 5, 2027, the Monkeyspot Boulder Hall Duisburg will transform into a sports learning environment for all who want to try bouldering for the first time. From 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, it’s about technique, safety, and the right feel for the wall, without ropes, at jumping height, and over thick soft mats.
With Technique and Tactics to First Success
The one-hour introductory course teaches the most important safety aspects and basic bouldering techniques. The trainers will show beginners how to use their feet purposefully, shift their body weight, and perform movements in a controlled manner. It’s not just about strength: balance, body tension, and a smart view of the route determine the next hold.
Movement, Tension, and Playfulness
Bouldering connects short, intense sequences of movement with creative problem-solving. Each boulder presents a new challenge, and each combination of holds requires its own tactic. In the stadium atmosphere of the hall, concentrated calm, motivating shouts, and sporty field tension come together at the wall.
Entry and Equipment Included
The course price is €20.00 for adults and €18.50 for reduced rates. The price includes day entry and rental shoes. After the course, climbing can continue independently without additional course fees. Comfortable sportswear is suitable for the dynamic movements at the wall.
Conclusion: The Perfect Start in the Boulder Sport
Those who want to get to know bouldering safely, varied, and with professional guidance will find the right start in the beginner course at Monkeyspot Duisburg. Experience fan chants, hall energy, and the special moment when the first boulder succeeds, right there at the wall.
