Shape Hochheide together: Exchange, ideas, and concrete perspectives
How will Hochheide develop further? At the Round Table Hochheide, citizens, stakeholders, and institutions from the district come together to discuss important issues, exchange ideas, and actively shape the future of the neighborhood.
Urban development in focus
The focus of the evening includes the construction measures of the Integrated Urban Development Concept Hochheide. The ISEK aims to enhance the neighborhood in the coming years and set new impulses for the living and residential environment. The event provides space to contextualize developments and bring forward questions from the neighborhood.
Heat protection as a future topic
An additional focus is on current and planned heat protection measures. In light of increasing summer heat, climate-adapted urban development is gaining importance. The Round Table combines information with direct exchange and highlights which measures can make Hochheide more resilient and livable.
Dialogue and networking in the neighborhood
The regular Round Table creates an open conversational atmosphere for neighbors, institutions, and local activists. The center of attention is organization, participation, and goal-oriented event planning for the neighborhood. The audience's atmosphere thrives on personal conversation and the willingness to develop Hochheide positively together.
Practical information for participation
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Senior Meeting Point Homberg at Ehrenstraße 18 in Duisburg. For better planning, registration is requested at the Neighborhood Office Hochheide at 02066 9937660 or via email at qm@du-hochheide.de. Participation is free of charge.
Conclusion
The Round Table Hochheide brings important urban development topics directly into conversation with the people on site.
