With four strings into the Christmas season: Playing Ukulele Made Easy
On November 6, 2026, a musical introduction begins at the Gnadenkirche Neumühl, aimed at those without prior knowledge and directly targeting collective music-making. In the beginner course, participants will learn basic chords and soon accompany well-known songs on the ukulele.
Musical introduction with quick success
The ukulele combines a warm, bright sound with an easily accessible play style. Within two sessions of 45 minutes, course leader Sabine Kleefeld will teach three to four common chords. The program includes songs like Brother Jacob, St. Martin, Little Snowflake, and first Advent songs.
Learning together, playing together
The event is aimed at beginners who want to try an instrument or surprise their family musically during the Christmas season. The small course group creates a personal event atmosphere with direct guidance, focused practice sessions, and a shared audience mood during playing and singing.
Instruments available on-site
Rental instruments are available. If someone already owns a ukulele, they are best advised to bring it along. This creates a hassle-free event experience, where the event planning focuses on practical exercises and immediate progress.
Two dates for a successful start
The beginner course will take place on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM and on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Registrations are accepted by Sabine Kleefeld via phone, email, or through the Alte Pfarrhaus.
Conclusion
Playing Ukulele Made Easy offers a fun introduction to making music together and lays the foundation for festive song accompaniment. Those who want to play first melodies with a few chords and musically enrich the pre-Christmas season will experience a hands-on workshop with personal support at the Gnadenkirche Neumühl.
