Together we tinker and make bikes fit again
On Monday, January 18, 2027, the bike workshop reborad at Rhine Park in Duisburg-Hochfeld will open its doors for an open repair session. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, your own bike is the focus: with tools, practical support, and community engagement, a unique event experience revolves around sustainability, self-help, and inclusive neighborhoods.
Open workshop with real participation character
This is not about quick servicing, but about tinkering together. Visitors can repair their bikes themselves and have access to available tools as well as the support of staff. The calm workshop atmosphere creates space for practical solutions, new techniques, and direct interaction within the neighborhood.
Experience sustainability in everyday life
A repaired bike stays in circulation and doesn't prematurely end up sidelined. The format combines event planning with a concrete contribution to sustainable mobility. Minor defects, everyday repairs, and safe handling of one's own bike are at the center of the evening.
Inclusive, community-oriented, and hands-on
The open bike workshop is aimed at people with and without disabilities. Reborad wants to create access, break down barriers, and bring people from Duisburg-Hochfeld together. The atmosphere thrives on teamwork, mutual help, and the good feeling of making one's own bike roadworthy again.
Conclusion: Participate instead of throwing away
Bike Repair for Everyone offers practical help, a relaxed event atmosphere, and sustainable mobility to touch. If you want to repair your bike yourself and meet people from the neighborhood, you'll experience a meaningful evening with a real participatory factor at the reborad bike workshop.
