Bicycle Repair for Everyone: Working Together in Duisburg-Hochfeld
On Monday, January 11, 2027, the bicycle workshop reborad at Rheinpark will open its doors for an open bicycle workshop in Duisburg-Hochfeld. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, practical help, collaborative tinkering, and sustainable mobility will be the focus.
Workshop Atmosphere with Real Participation
At the event experience of Bicycle Repair for Everyone, visitors bring their own bicycles back into shape. Tools are provided while the open organization creates space for independent work and professional support. Small defects, maintenance work, and everyday repairs receive the attention that is often missing in fast-paced everyday life.
Inclusion and Sustainability in Daily Life
The offer is aimed at people with and without disabilities. The audience's atmosphere thrives on mutual support, community, and the good feeling of being able to use a bicycle for a longer time. Reborad connects craftsmanship with social participation and a conscious use of resources.
An Evening for Sustainable Mobility
The event planning relies on a low-threshold format without a big stage: The focus is on bicycles, tools, and collaborative action. Reborad is rooted in the bicycle sector as a master and training company as well as a Shimano Service Center. Donated bicycles are also repaired, overhauled, and later passed on for a small fee.
Organization and Registration
The open bicycle workshop takes place upon registration. A fee of 2 euros per hour is charged for each repair spot. For queries and registrations, reborad can be reached by email at reborad@regenbogen-duisburg.de and by phone at 0203 3003659.
Conclusion: Experience Bicycle Knowledge, Help, and Community Live
Bicycle Repair for Everyone offers a practical event experience with a workshop feeling, social engagement, and sustainable value. Those who want to repair their own bike, receive support, and become part of an open community will experience a special evening around the bicycle in Duisburg-Hochfeld.
