Bicycle Repair for All: Together Fixing and Staying Sustainably Mobile

On December 28, 2026, the bicycle workshop reborad at Rheinpark in Duisburg-Hochfeld will transform into an open meeting point for practical help, collaborative tinkering, and sustainable mobility. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, visitors can bring their bicycles up to speed and receive support in a calm workshop atmosphere.

Open Bicycle Workshop with Real Participation

Tools, bicycles, and your own hands are at the center of this unique event experience. Instead of a classic stage event, guests can expect direct assistance for self-help: recognizing defects, understanding repair steps, and making their own bike roadworthy again.

Inclusion, Community, and Sustainability

The offer is aimed at people with and without disabilities. The open workshop combines organization, practical event planning, and social outreach with a clear sustainability thought. Repairing instead of throwing away creates encounters and extends the lifespan of bicycles.

Workshop Atmosphere in Duisburg-Hochfeld

Amidst tools, spare parts, and focused tinkering, a pleasant event atmosphere emerges. The mood among the audience thrives on collective effort, discussions about bicycles, and the good feeling of having achieved a practical solution on their own. Donation bicycles are also part of reborad's sustainable concept: they are repaired, refurbished, and subsequently resold for a small price.

Practical Help Upon Registration

The bicycle workshop offers its premises on Mondays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM upon registration. The format is suitable for anyone wanting to carry out smaller repairs themselves, get to know their bicycle better, or receive support for maintenance.

Conclusion: Bicycle Repair for All stands for a down-to-earth, inclusive, and sustainable event experience. Those wanting to get their bicycles fit again and meet people from the neighborhood can expect an evening with real participatory character in Duisburg-Hochfeld.
