Discovering Digital Media Worlds: It's e-Time at the Duisburg Central Library
Digital literature, international newspapers, and electronic media have long been part of the daily work of modern libraries. At the free consultation It's e-Time, visitors to the Duisburg city library receive understandable support regarding digital online offers.
Personal Consultation for Digital Library Offers
The focus is on practical questions regarding the use of the Onleihe, the international newspaper kiosk PressReader, and other digital services. The consultation combines library expertise with direct assistance and is aimed at both beginners and individuals with specific usage problems.
Onleihe, PressReader, and More Explained Clearly
Using notebooks, tablets, and eBook readers, the offers are presented and the individual usage steps are explained in an understandable manner. Those who own a device can bring it to the consultation and clarify their questions directly on their personal device.
Quiet Reading Atmosphere Instead of Technical Hurdles
The MachBar on the third floor of the central library creates a focused setting for this special author meeting: not a single book is the focus, but access to an entire digital library world. Between media collections, linguistic art, and modern information culture, digital participation becomes practically tangible.
A Literary Experience for Digital Everyday Life
It's e-Time shows how libraries expand their role in cultural discourse. E-books, digital newspapers, and electronic information offers complement the classic collection and open new pathways for literature and media usage.
Conclusion: Visitors can expect a free, practical consultation with personal advice on the online offers of the Duisburg city library. Those who want to use digital media more confidently and get to know the library's possibilities better will find support here without technical apprehensions.
