Open Studio in Duisburg-Hochfeld: Create Art Yourself
The Open Studio at the Hochfeld Art and Culture Studio invites children, families, and all art enthusiasts to a creative afternoon on February 23, 2027. From 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, paper, wire, and concrete will be available as versatile materials for your own artistic ideas.
Material, Form, and Imagination
The aesthetic experience begins with direct contact with the material. Paper offers light, flexible, and drawing possibilities, wire brings lines into space, and concrete adds a heavy, sculptural accent. Exciting forms emerge from these contrasts between collage, construction, and installation.
An Art Experience with Workshop Atmosphere
In the open studio, art is not only viewed but experienced in the creation process. Observing the work is combined with doing: surfaces are felt, materials are combined, and ideas are gradually translated into visible forms. This creates a lively exhibition atmosphere, where experimentation and personal expression are at the forefront.
Cultural Education Through Creating Your Own
The offering playfully conveys the basics of sculpture, spatial impact, and material aesthetics. Children discover how independent artworks are created from simple materials, while developing imagination, perception, and craftsmanship. The open structure creates an accessible approach to visual arts and enhances the joy of the creative process.
An Inspiring Afternoon for Families
The Hochfeld Art and Culture Studio connects neighborhood, cultural participation, and artistic practice. The relaxed atmosphere invites experimentation without performance pressure, finding new forms, and engaging in conversation about art together.
The Open Studio promises an immediate art experience full of material exploration, imagination, and creative energy. Those who want to not only view art but create it themselves should definitely attend this free event in Duisburg-Hochfeld live.
