Open Studio in Duisburg: Discover colors, shapes, and your own ideas
On October 31, 2026, the Hochfelder Art and Culture Studio will become an open creative space for children, families, and anyone who enjoys creating. In the Open Studio, images will be created on canvas, paper, or wood – using acrylic paints, watercolors, and pencils.
Creatively working with canvas, paper, and wood
Whether bold color fields, fine pencil lines, or imaginative shapes: Participants choose their material and develop their own image ideas. The studio provides space for trying out, experimenting, and deepening personal creativity.
With guidance or completely independently
The event concept combines an open workshop atmosphere with professional support. Those who need an impulse receive assistance in implementation; those who already have a concrete idea work independently on their own artwork. This creates a varied event experience for different age groups and levels of experience.
Experience art in the Hochfelder Studio
The event atmosphere remains deliberately accessible and personal. Colors, brushes, and various painting surfaces create a sensory environment where concentration, exchange, and enjoyment of the creative process come together. The organization is aimed at visitors who want not only to observe art but to experience it practically.
Free entry and registration required
The Open Studio takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Entry is free. Prior registration is required for event planning.
Conclusion
The Open Studio at the Hochfelder Art and Culture Studio invites you to leave everyday life behind and make your own ideas visible with colors, shapes, and materials. Anyone looking to experience creative time in Duisburg and create a personal artwork will find an inspiring place here.
