With skates, puck, and children's laughter on the ice
During the Kids Day of the Young Foxes Duisburg, children aged 3 to 8 will experience an active afternoon at the alleato Arena. On October 10, 2026, they will discover the ice and the sport of ice hockey in a playful, child-friendly manner with a lot of joy in shared movement.
Playful first steps on the ice
For an hour, exciting games, small challenges, and initial experiences with ice hockey will be the focus. The children will get to know the ice at their own pace, try out movements, and see how curiosity gradually transforms into confidence.
Movement, wonder, and teamwork
The family experience combines children's laughter with a valuable learning experience. Through joint play, balance, coordination, reaction ability, and self-confidence are encouraged. At the same time, the children learn the importance of consideration, fairness, and teamwork in sports.
Child-friendly support and important notes
The coaching and support team will accompany the children on the ice. Registration is required to participate, as places are limited. From previous Kids Day offerings by the Young Foxes, initial exercises, obstacles, games, and shooting on goal are expected. A bicycle helmet and gloves are recommended equipment; skates can be rented according to the organizer's information.
Insight into the youth work of the Young Foxes
The Kids Day offers families a direct insight into the youth work of EV Duisburg. The club works with qualified coaches, age-appropriate training offers, and its own skating school. There, children develop fundamental skills such as cornering, braking, starting, and skating backwards in a protected environment.
Conclusion: A sporty family afternoon on the ice
The Kids Day of the Young Foxes Duisburg brings movement, learning fun, and community to the ice. Children discover a new sport, parents experience a varied family afternoon, and everyone takes special impressions from the alleato Arena. Register now and take the first step on the ice together.
