Conni is celebrating her birthday – a joyful interactive musical for the whole family
When Conni has her birthday, it becomes colorful, musical and full of movement: On Sunday, November 29, 2026, "Conni – The Musical!" invites families to the Mercatorhalle Duisburg. Children aged three and up will experience Conni, her friends, Teddy, and Tom Cat Mau in a lively birthday story filled with games, singing, dancing, and lots of children's laughter.
A birthday party with music, movement, and imagination
Conni has a lot planned for her big day. Together with her friends, she wants to play, romp, dance, sing, and bake the world's best chocolate cake. The colorful stage action connects familiar characters from Conni's world with catchy songs and a warm family atmosphere.
The special thing about the production: The audience does not just watch, but becomes part of the story. Singing along, clapping along, dancing, and cheering turn the musical into an active family experience. This creates an age-appropriate learning experience for younger children, playfully supporting language, sense of rhythm, movement, and social participation.
Told in a child-friendly way and suitable for little musical fans
The event is aimed at children aged three and older and their families according to the event information. Conni's adventures address everyday topics familiar to children: friendship, anticipation, independence, and the joint solving of small challenges. The story remains close to the child's world and offers conversation starters for the time spent together before and after the performance.
With a duration of approximately 100 minutes including an intermission, the musical offers a varied stage experience within a manageable timeframe. The break allows for a brief rest before the birthday story continues.
