Acoustic guitar magic at BORA Duisburg
On Sunday, November 15, 2026, the concert series Tiny Acoustics! continues its intimate journey through acoustic music at Dellplatz. Georg „Ozzy“ Göbel-Jakobi will host a close concert evening at BORA Duisburg featuring acoustic guitars, a microphone, and plenty of space for delicate sound colors.
Virtuoso guitar music with Ruhr area charm
Georg Göbel-Jakobi is known to many music fans as Ozzy Ostermann from Herbert Knebels Affentheater. Since the early 1990s, he has been part of the stage world of the successful Ruhr area formation. Under his own name, the musician, born in Leer and living in the Ruhr area since 1984, showcases his personal musical style.
Fingerstyle, blues, folk, and jazz in concentrated form
At Tiny Acoustics!, the acoustic guitar takes center stage. Fingerstyle, ragtime, lap steel, blues, folk, and jazz combine to create a varied soundscape. The reduced setup with acoustic guitars and a microphone creates an immediate live atmosphere where plucking, resonance, and rhythmic synchronization stand out clearly.
A small concert with a great sound impact
BORA Duisburg will transform into a concentrated listening space on Sunday evening. Instead of large stage productions, stage performance, musical precision, and direct connection to the audience take center stage. Each note receives space, each melody develops its own tension. Thus, a relaxed concert experience is created for all who appreciate handmade guitar music and special closeness to the audience.
Free admission – the hat is passed around
The concert evening starts at 6:00 PM and is scheduled to last until 7:00 PM. Admission is free; at the hat concert, a hat is passed around. This combines Tiny Acoustics! with an accessible approach and a gesture of appreciation for live music.
Conclusion: Experience acoustic music up close
Tiny Acoustics! with Georg „Ozzy“ Göbel-Jakobi promises a relaxed Sunday evening filled with virtuoso guitar work, warm sound textures, and personal stage presence. Those who want to not just hear but directly experience acoustic live music will find the perfect concert moment at Dellplatz.
