Guitar sounds to touch: Tiny Acoustics! at BORA Duisburg

The concert series Tiny Acoustics! continues on Sunday, January 17, 2027, at BORA Duisburg. Georg „Ozzy“ Göbel-Jakobi will create an intimate acoustic evening starting at 6:00 PM at Dellplatz – close to the audience, focused in sound, and with free admission.

Virtuoso guitar work with Ruhr area charm

Georg Göbel-Jakobi has been performing on German stages with Herbert Knebels Affentheater since the early 1990s under the name Ozzy Ostermann. He is known for his virtuoso and auditorium-filling guitar work. At Tiny Acoustics!, his musical signature takes center stage: acoustic guitar, microphone, and a stage where every note gets space.

Acoustic, fingerstyle, and immediate live atmosphere

The concept focuses on reduction rather than overwhelming. The fine nuances of the strings, rhythmic precision, and the direct audience mood shape the concert experience. Between fingerstyle elements, bluesy colors, and delicate orchestration, a sound emerges that feels particularly intense in a small setting.

A Sunday evening for true sound proximity

Tiny Acoustics! kicks off the Sunday evening with handcrafted music and personal stage performance. Georg „Ozzy“ Göbel-Jakobi demonstrates that behind the well-known figure of Ozzy Ostermann stands a versatile guitarist with his own musical perspective – solo, acoustic, and without great distance to the audience.

Free admission, hat concert, and good music

Admission is free, and a hat will be passed around during the event. This evening combines low-threshold culture with a concentrated live experience at BORA Duisburg. If you love acoustic guitar music, fingerstyle, and authentic concert atmosphere, you will find a special date in the Duisburg event calendar here.
