Starting at 8:00 PM, powerful band sound meets an energetic audience vibe – a concert evening for all those who want to not just hear the rhythm but feel it physically.

Funk with Pressure, Soul with Soul

SUPERSTRUT stands for modern funk with rich horn sections, multi-part vocals, driving percussion, and a precisely working rhythm section. The repertoire combines grooves from the late seventies with elements from acid jazz and contemporary soul. Sound references can be found in Cool & The Gang, Incognito, Jamiroquai, The Motet, and the Brand New Heavies.

Nine-Piece Band for Maximum Stage Energy

The funk band was founded in 2014 by experienced musicians from North Rhine-Westphalia. Today, a nine-piece formation takes the stage, complemented by guest musicians at selected appearances. The focus is not on interchangeable top-40 hits, but on carefully arranged cover versions and a distinctive, punchy funk sound.

The Steinbruch Duisburg provides the perfect setting for this concert evening: distinctive grooves, sharply placed horn accents, and a tight interplay of bass, drums, guitar, keyboards, and vocals come together in an immediate club atmosphere. The stage performance thrives on synchronization, dynamic breaks, and a sound that targets the dance floor directly.
