Beards with Girls bring pop-punk with attitude to Ruhrort

On Sunday, November 29, 2026, Zum Hübi in Duisburg-Ruhrort will transform into an energetic sound space: At Sounds & Spaces Ruhrort, catchy melodies, clear messages, and a wild stage performance come together. Beards with Girls stand for self-determination, diversity, and equality – and combine this attitude with powerful pop-punk and riot grrrl energy.

Four musicians, one unmistakable sound

Beards with Girls are from Dortmund and have been shaking up the stages of the region since February 2024. Guitar, bass, drums, and vocals form the powerful foundation of their songs. The band plays directly, loudly, and with a lot of humor. Their music fights against rigid gender roles and celebrates personal freedom, empowerment, and social diversity.

Catchy tunes meet mosh pit energy

The live atmosphere thrives on driving rhythms, sharp guitars, and a clear musical approach. Catchy choruses collide with the raw force of pop-punk, while the stage performance impresses with visible joy in playing and lots of action. Beards with Girls combine musical precision with an intentionally unrestrained concert energy.

Humor as part of the stage performance

The namesake beards are more than a striking accessory: They become a playful symbol for breaking with expectations and traditional role models. Even the instruments appear bearded. This creates a concert experience that conveys social themes not in a preachy manner, but with humor, attitude, and musical pressure.
