PURE - VOCALS: Two voices, a special sound space
On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the Free Columbarium Rheinkirche in Duisburg-Homberg will transform into an intimate concert venue. JOHNA and Sihna Maage combine piano, acoustic guitar, and two-part harmony into a handmade live experience full of warmth, harmony, and musical closeness.
Acoustic intensity and true female power
The duo relies on a reduced lineup with great impact. Between gentle ballads and gripping songs, a sound emerges that thrives on delicate guitar lines, expressive piano, and precise vocal synchronization. The voices of JOHNA and Sihna Maage complement each other into a transparent sound image, where every nuance remains audible.
Folk, Pop, RnB, and Soul in dialogue
JOHNA brings her soulful folk sound and experience from performances as a support for Melissa Etheridge and Jennifer Rush. Her music connects country, folk, and pop with personal stories and strong messages. Sihna Maage adds modern RnB and soul accents to this. Together, they create a versatile repertoire with their own interpretations of well-known hits and a unique stage performance.
A concert in an extraordinary atmosphere
The listed former church of the Free Columbarium Rheinkirche creates a special setting for this concert experience. The clear acoustics, unique architecture, and close proximity to the audience give the voices space. Quiet moments feel as intense here as powerful passages, when the two-part arrangements unfold into a warm musical sound carpet.
JOHNA between singer-songwriter tradition and the present
JOHNA released her German-language album Postkarten in 2022 and continued her musical journey in 2025 with the EP Nachtzug. Her songs tell of nostalgia, farewell, inner strength, and change. With Sihna Maage by her side, this material gains an additional color: immediate, dialogical, and carried by the special energy of a well-rehearsed duo.
Conclusion: An evening for open ears and strong emotions
PURE - VOCALS promises a concert between intimate acoustics, emotional songwriting, and vibrant stage presence. Visitors will experience two strong singers who combine well-known songs and their own musical styles into a special evening. Those who love handmade music, fine harmonies, and authentic live atmosphere should not miss this concert at the Free Columbarium Rheinkirche.
