Twelve musicians, a special concert evening

Peter Bursch and his band have been an integral part of the Duisburg music scene for years. The Acoustic Nights combine warm guitar sounds with driving rhythms and a versatile stage performance. The partially seated concert creates a closeness to the audience and space for a lively concert experience.

Guitar expertise meets rock history

Peter Bursch is considered one of the most well-known German guitar teachers, musicians, and authors. Since the 1960s, he has been on stages in Europe, the USA, the USSR, and China. As the founder, composer, and guitarist of Bröselmaschine, he shaped the German rock scene. His guitar books reached a wide audience and were awarded the Golden Guitar Book for more than a million copies sold.

Live atmosphere with Duisburg tradition

The Acoustic Nights have been a part of the Duisburg pre-Christmas season since 1992. Over the years, the concert has moved from Filmforum to Pulp and then to Steinhof at Dellplatz, where the series has found its home since 2015. In the BORA, the familiar audience atmosphere and the direct sound of a club location meet the orchestrated power of a twelve-member band.

An evening between acoustic, rock, and emotion

On stage, guitars, vocals, and rhythm merge into a varied live sound. The musical direction by Peter Bursch ensures clear synchronization and dynamic tension arcs, while the band alternates between quiet acoustic moments and powerful rock passages. The result is a concert experience with a personal atmosphere and great musical breadth.
