TANGA ELEKTRA brings the Berlin Bounce to Duisburg

On Saturday, November 21, 2026, the Lokal Harmonie in Duisburg will transform into a vibrant resonance space for electronic sounds, soulful vocals, and driving beats. TANGA ELEKTRA combines electric violin, vocals, drums, and a loop station into an interactive concert experience with free entry and a solidarity hat concert.

Violin, Loop Station, and Groove from the Moment

David Engler shapes a rich soundscape with electric violin, vocals, keyboards, and looping. Guitar effects transform pizzicato melodies into rhythmic lines, strong bass structures, and lush string surfaces. Elias Engler provides the pulsating counterpoint with drums, percussion, vocals, and rap.

The loop station captures live-created elements while the duo condenses them into new arrangements through open interplay. This creates an unusual orchestration where each layer grows from the moment. Electronic soul, funk, reggae, hip-hop, and drum-and-bass influences merge into a distinctive sound.

Live Atmosphere with Real Energy Exchange

TANGA ELEKTRA represents a stage performance that combines closeness and movement. From the interplay of conducting, synchronization, and spontaneous improvisation, new versions of well-known pieces develop alongside completely new compositions. The audience is not only invited to listen but to become part of the musical energy exchange.

The special acoustics of the duo arise from the reduction to two musicians and a maximum sound effect. Every beat remains physically palpable, every violin loop expands the space, and every vocal entry gives the groove a new direction. The result: a danceable, surprising, and immediate concert experience far from conventional stylistic boundaries.

International Experience and Award-Winning Stage Presence

Brothers David and Elias Engler have toured through Germany, Europe, and Brazil. Their stops include Italy, Switzerland, Austria, England, and Norway. TANGA ELEKTRA has also been a guest at TEDx events in Berlin and Hamburg multiple times.

The duo played a 22-concert tour with Ohrbooten and supported Käptn Peng, Flo Mega, and Wallis Bird. At the FRITZ Radio Night of Talents in Berlin's Admiralspalast, TANGA ELEKTRA won first place in the music category.

From Electrosoul to Berlin Bounce

The musical history of the band ranges from early street performances to club shows and festival appearances. The 2018 album Music encapsulates various facets of the duo, while the live-recorded album Change documents the immediate energy of their stage work. Releases like Soulriders, Sun We Are Ready, and Cluburlaub demonstrate the stylistic range between soul, electro, and funk.

Conclusion: Duisburg Dances with TANGA ELEKTRA

Visitors can expect an evening concert full of movement, improvised sound moments, and driving live energy. Anyone wanting to experience electronic music with genuine craftsmanship, soulful voices, and virtuosic violin should catch TANGA ELEKTRA live at Lokal Harmonie on November 21, 2026.
