JAS live in Duisburg: Music, Opinion and an exclusive club concert
On Thursday, November 12, 2026, #LetUsTalk! LetUsConcert! in Duisburg's old town combines an open talk with an exclusive live performance by JAS. The Berlin musician talks to young people about Europe and topics that concern their generation before taking the stage in a small ensemble.
Creating closeness between conversation and concert
The evening does not start with distance, but with exchange. Those who register can submit their own question, actively shaping the talk with JAS. The focus is on criticism, doubt, ideas, and hope - perspectives that are given space by the #LetUsTalk initiative.
JAS brings emotional indie pop to the stage
Musically, JAS stands for German-language indie pop with introspective lyrics, reduced piano moments, and emotional soundscapes. Songs like Winterheart, Checkmate, Barbed Wire, and Blue Eyes combine personal stories with a direct, vulnerable stage performance. His current music includes releases like Too Young, No Worries, and The Youth is Afraid.
Small ensemble, intense live atmosphere
The club concert emphasizes closeness rather than great distance. A compact lineup creates space for voice, text, and differentiated orchestration. Between quiet passages, clear synchronizations, and surging hooks, a concert experience emerges that immediately captures the audience's mood.
An evening for young voices
#LetUsTalk! LetUsConcert! is more than a concert date: the event connects pop culture with social dialogue. This connection makes the evening special - first the conversation about Europe and the lives of young people, then the music as an emotional resonance space.
