Kochkraft durch KMA opens 2027 with an explosive concert night
The new year begins at BORA Duisburg with full energy: On January 2, 2027, Kochkraft durch KMA invites you to the New Year concert and brings along a strictly secret special guest. The announced Secret Act is already creating additional excitement before the first note.
New Wave, Punk, and Synth Rock under one roof
Kochkraft durch KMA combines New Wave, Neue Deutsche Welle, Synth Rock, and Post-Punk into a distinctive live sound. Dadaistic lyrics, ironic punk, and socially critical perspectives meet driving guitars, striking synthesizers, and uncompromising drumming.
A band with Duisburg roots and its own signature
Founded in 2014, the band from Duisburg and Cologne has made a name for itself in the indie-punk context of North Rhine-Westphalia. On releases like Endlich Läuse!, Alle Kinder sind tot, and Hardcore Never Dies Das, their development from an experimental punk formation to a precisely arranged stage band is evident. The album Hardcore Never Dies Das was released in 2025 by the Hamburg label Grand Hotel van Cleef and reached number 38 on the German album charts.
Live atmosphere between sweat, light, and synchronization
At BORA, the edgy sound of the band meets an immediate club atmosphere. Precise timing, powerful rhythm work, and electronic sound colors merge into a stage performance that oscillates between concert and collective movement. The audience can expect an energy-charged concert experience with driving sound and surprising moments.
The Secret Act remains a secret until the concert evening
The additional act will not be announced in advance. This dramatic surprise makes the New Year concert a special date for all those who want to start the new concert year with curiosity, volume, and an unpredictable live night.
Conclusion
Kochkraft durch KMA brings their unique mix of punk, post-punk, synth rock, and New Wave to BORA Duisburg. In addition, there will be a secret special guest. Those who want to kick off 2027 with an intense audience atmosphere and an exceptional club show should experience this evening live.
