James Harries brings "Love & Desire" to BORA Duisburg

On Saturday, November 21, 2026, the BORA at Duisburger Dellplatz will transform into an atmospheric concert venue for intimate songwriter art. James Harries presents his "Love & Desire" tour, blending indie folk, alternative acoustic music, and soulful melodies with an immediately engaging live atmosphere.

Between warmth, spontaneity, and musical closeness

The album "Love & Desire" emerged from the desire to capture music in a more immediate and human way. James Harries collaborated with fellow musicians to work on the songs in a short period, focusing on live recordings, natural dynamics, and deliberately allowed imperfections. This results in a sound image that feels warm, organic, and personal.

A concert for explorers of fine sonic nuances

James Harries is a singer, songwriter, and film composer. His music thrives on poignant singing, melancholic lyrics, and stylistic proximity to indie folk, alternative pop, and acoustic soul. Songs like "Love & Desire," "Shivers Down My Spine," and "Ungrateful Heart" lead through a program that allows for quiet moments as well as powerful musical densifications.
