"Fly Me To The Moon": A musical journey into the golden age of the Rat Pack
On Friday, November 6, 2026, the Hamborner Ratskeller in Duisburg will transform into a stage for great voices, timeless melodies, and the elegant sound of a legendary era. R.L. Madison and British singer Joel Handley invite you to a musical journey through the world of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. starting at 7 PM.
Between Swing, Jazz, and American Entertainment Culture
"Fly Me To The Moon" combines well-known classics with exciting insights into music history. At the center is the Rat Pack, whose stylistic blend of swing, jazz, crooner singing, and casual stage performance has significantly influenced American entertainment culture.
R.L. Madison and Joel Handley will also pay tribute to other greats of this musical era, including Ray Charles and Nat King Cole. Their own interpretations, musical explanations, and background information guide the audience through a program that merges concert atmosphere with music education.
Live Atmosphere with Great Melodies
The concert experience thrives on the combination of distinctive singing, rhythmic precision, and the unique sound of classical entertainment music. Between swinging arrangements and heartfelt ballads, a stage performance emerges that captures the charm of past concert evenings while presenting it in an approachable manner.
