Elvis lives: D.W. King & The Cosmic Crooners bring Rock’n’Roll to Duisburg

On Saturday, January 23, 2027, the Steinbruch Duisburg will be transformed into a stage for the King of Rock’n’Roll. D.W. King & The Cosmic Crooners dedicate an energy-filled concert evening to Elvis Presley, full of Rock’n’Roll, Blues, Country, Gospel, ballads, and film music.

A voice full of power and longing

D.W. King stands at the center of the evening as Duisburg's Elvis tribute artist. His stage performance combines vocal presence, emotion, and moderation with a deep knowledge of Elvis Presley's musical legacy. Together with The Cosmic Crooners, a concert experience is created that aims not at mere replication but brings the character of the songs to the stage with independent energy.

From Rock’n’Roll to grand ballads

The program takes the audience through three decades of Elvis history. The set includes classics such as That’s Alright Mama, Devil in Disguise, Always on My Mind, and In the Ghetto. Additionally, Blue Suede Shoes, Johnny B. Goode, and You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling, as well as rarely heard rarities from the King's repertoire are featured.

The musical dramaturgy spans from driving Rock’n’Roll to bluesy grooves and Country influences, including Gospel moments, ballads, and well-known film titles. Guitar, bass, piano, organ, drums, and multi-part vocals create a versatile orchestration and a powerful live sound.

Experience from around 200 concerts

D.W. King & The Cosmic Crooners have dedicated themselves to Elvis Presley's work since 2008. The seven-member band from the Ruhr area brings around 200 concert experiences to the stage and has already played in the opening act for the TCB Band, the backing band of Elvis Presley during the 1970s. Its musicians were subsequently enthusiastic about the careful yet independent interpretation.

Live atmosphere in Steinbruch Duisburg

The Steinbruch provides the perfect setting for this evening, combining concert hall, gastronomy, and Ruhr area culture. The partially seated concert area connects proximity to the stage with a direct audience atmosphere. Those preferring a seat should arrive early for admission.

Conclusion: Elvis fans, Rock’n’Roll lovers, and anyone who appreciates handcrafted live music with character will experience an evening full of energy, emotion, and a musical journey through time on January 23, 2027.
