Advent Soundscapes in the Gnadenkirche Neumühl
On Sunday, December 13, 2026, the Evangelical Church Community Duisburg-Neumühl invites you to a festive Advent concert in the Gnadenkirche. Starting at 3 PM, well-known Christmas melodies will be played on organ and accordion – a musical afternoon filled with warmth, tranquility, and pre-Christmas atmosphere.
Silvester Pece connects organ and accordion
At the center of the event is Silvester Pece, church musician in the evangelical northern communities of Hamborn and Neumühl. The studied instrumental educator is proficient on both the organ and accordion and combines both instruments for a varied concert experience.
Familiar Christmas classics with festive sound
The organ fills the church space with sustaining chords and celebratory timbre, while the accordion adds warm, dynamic accents. In the special acoustics of the Gnadenkirche, a versatile orchestration emerges between sacred richness of sound, melodic clarity, and personal stage performance.
The program focuses on familiar Christmas classics that immediately create an Advent mood. Between festive conducting, differentiated registration, and the characteristic sound of the accordion, a concert unfolds that invites you to pause and listen.
Advent afternoon with time for encounters
The concert lasts from 3 to 5 PM. A concert break provides an opportunity to exchange thoughts over coffee and enjoy the Advent afternoon in a pleasant atmosphere. Thus, the event combines musical enjoyment with communal encounters in the Neumühler Gnadenkirche.
Conclusion: Experience Christmas spirit live
Those who wish to experience familiar Christmas melodies in a special church space will find organ sound, accordion, tranquility, and festive audience atmosphere at this Advent concert. Admission is free, donations are welcome. A lovely occasion to celebrate Advent musically and together.
