Rob Moir brings honest songs and deep emotions to Duisburg

On Saturday, November 21, 2026, the PLUS at Neumarkt in Duisburg-Ruhrort will serve as a stage for Rob Moir. As part of the concert series CALLED OUT, the Canadian singer-songwriter presents his handmade mix of compelling songwriting, distinctive voice, and immediate live atmosphere.

Between Wilco, Springsteen, and Billy Bragg

Rob Moir's music navigates through Americana, indie folk, and politically aware songwriting. His pieces combine eloquent, at times humorous lyrics with a stage performance that focuses on closeness instead of distance. Musically, Wilco, Bruce Springsteen, and Billy Bragg serve as reference points for the stylistic range of this evening.

Solo intensity with fine tonal colors

His third release SOLO RECORD merges the energy of his sweat-inducing live shows with the finer tonal colors of a careful studio production. The concert promises reduced arrangements, precise guitar work, and a voice that gives each song a personal contour. In the concentrated acoustics of the PLUS at Neumarkt, an immediate concert experience is created, featuring changing dynamics and ample space for the lyrics.

CALLED OUT: Handmade music with attitude

The concert series CALLED OUT stands for primarily homemade, handcrafted music and honest lyrics inspired by life. The concept as a voluntary hat event opens the evening for different budgets while directly honoring the artistic performance. Rob Moir's appearance fits perfectly into this format with his independent work style and pronounced live presence.

Conclusion: An evening for intense songwriter moments

Visitors can expect an authentic concert evening bridging Americana, indie folk, and passionate storytelling. Those who want to not only hear Rob Moir but also experience his direct audience interaction and personal stage performance should enjoy this evening live at the PLUS at Neumarkt.
