Rebell Comedy tests new punchlines at BORA Duisburg

When a joke comes fresh out of the comedy oven, it doesn’t end up in the trash at Rebell Comedy, but in front of the audience instead. On Wednesday, November 25, 2026, the ensemble invites you to the Comedy Open Mic Night at BORA Duisburg. The event starts at 8:00 PM and is expected to last until 10:15 PM.

Stand-up with a surprise effect

During this open mic night, the rebels of the comedy scene test their latest jokes in front of an audience. This means: punchlines that take risks, spontaneous interaction, and a timing that can be measured directly by audience reaction. Some gags land like a tailored suit, while others need a little stage rearrangement – this is what creates the special comedy atmosphere of a test night.

RebellComedy: diverse, direct, and audience-oriented

RebellComedy stands for modern stand-up and a diverse perspective on everyday life. The ensemble was founded in 2007, after the initiators felt insufficiently represented in the then comedy scene. Since then, RebellComedy has been among the known formats of the German stand-up landscape, combining sharp observations with personal stage presence.

Comedy in an industrial BORA ambiance

BORA Duisburg, as a small arts venue, trendy place, and event location, provides the perfect setting for an evening where closeness to the audience matters. The location at Dellplatz combines modern industrial look with event technology and space for comedy, poetry, concerts, and other cultural formats.

Conclusion: An evening for fans of fresh jokes

If you want to not only consume comedy but also witness the emergence of new punchlines live, the Rebell Comedy Open Mic Night is the right place for you. Secure your tickets in time and experience stand-up, timing, and audience reaction where every laugh counts: directly at BORA Duisburg.
