Heinz Erhardt and Friends: Wordplay Meets Nostalgia in Duisburg

When Heinz Erhardt's feather-light puns meet the great songs and sketches from the 50s to the 70s, even a well-cultivated nostalgia evening gets a significant stage hunger. On December 12, 2026, the revue Heinz Erhardt and Friends invites you to the Mercatorhalle Duisburg – with pointed humor, live music, and plenty of sing-along moments.

Stand-up, Sketches, and Mischief with Cult Factor

At the center is Heinz Erhardt, that master of twisted language, whose punchlines still come around the corner as elegantly as a well-turned slip of the tongue. Marc Neumeister embodies the legendary comedian with characteristic gestures, appropriate intonation, and a stage presence that brings to life the charming rogue of the economic miracle era.

The program combines cabaret, musical revue, and classic entertainment. The lineup features famous poems, sketches, and songs by Heinz Erhardt, including The Maggot, The Rain Sketch, the Wobbling Song, and other humorous scenes. The timing is spot on, the language dances – and somewhere, the next punchline with a hat and side part is already waiting.

A Musical Journey through the 50s to 70s

The show additionally bridges to popular entertainers and contemporaries like Rudi Carrell, Trude Herr, and Peter Alexander. Together with his ensemble and a live accompaniment on the piano, Marc Neumeister takes the audience into the golden era of television entertainment.

This creates a special comedy atmosphere: first a mischievous sketch, then a familiar song, followed by shared smiles over lyrics that have made generations laugh. Audience reactions range from quiet grinning to hearty laughter – nostalgia with musical tailwind.

Comedy Atmosphere with Live Ensemble

The revue thrives on the mix of precise timing, musical interaction, and loving character portrayal. Marc Neumeister is supported by an enthusiastic ensemble and brings Heinz Erhardt's humor to the stage with visible experience. The Rheinische Post referred to him as one of the best Heinz Erhardt performers.

For comedy fans, this means: no museum-like retrospective, but a lively laughing experience with theatrical energy, familiar melodies, and pointed stage techniques. The Mercatorhalle becomes the living room of a past television era – only this time, no one is searching for the remote control.
